Elissa Watson was appointed Acting Racing Integrity Commissioner on 14 December 2024.  Elissa has worked exclusively in racing integrity for the last 5 years, as the Victorian Racing Integrity Board’s inaugural Executive Officer, then Director Integrity Policy, Assurance and Legal within the Racing Integrity Commissioner’s office.

An experienced statutory officer, decision-maker and regulatory specialist, with deep expertise in the conduct of statutory investigations, inquiries, and audits, Elissa has previously held senior roles with Consumer Affairs Victoria, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and WorkSafe Victoria.
